cell phone screen repair
Got an iPhone? Got a broken screen to go with that iPhone? We figured.
We fix iPhones all day. iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus.
And don't think we're forgetting about you iPhone 3, 2, and 1 owners out there who refuse to upgrade.
We don't stop at just iPhone screen fixing, we do all cell phone screen repairs. Whether you have an HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony, Motorola, whatever! We've got you covered.
To say iPhone repair is common is an understatement.
Shattered screens are probably the most common thing we see as phone repair technicians. Depending on which phone you have and your experience with repairing electronics, you could probably get away with doing it yourself. We'll even sell you the cell phone repair kit you need to make it happen. But.. let's be honest. Most of you won't have a clue where to begin and don't want to risk making the problem any worse than it already is, and we don't blame you. Back in the day it used to be a real simple fix. Now'a'days screens are becoming more advanced, making the repair job more complex and tedious.
We aren't just saying this because we want your business, we're saying this because it's true. If you don't know what you're doing, let us do it. You're going to save yourself time and headaches, and it won't cost much more money than doing it yourself.
You're either going to need just a screen repair or a full LCD replacement, depending on the severity of the damage. If you've got just a broken screen and a functional LCD panel, we'll just repair the screen.
This saves you money. You like that. We know.
If you need the whole screen repair and LCD replacement, like most people do, we're going to let you know up front before we start working on it. No guessing games here, fellas.
So, yeah, you get it. We do iPhone repair. We do Android repair. We do it all.
cell phone unlocking
Need your phone unlocked? We can help you with that.
If you're leaving the country and don't want to be bound to a domestic service provider, you should get your phone unlocked.
By unlocking your phone you'll be able to connect to any cellular service provider and avoid the high fees associated with international data packages through providers like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.
Often times, depending on the carrier, you'll have a few hoops to jump through before being able to unlock your device. Having your contract fully paid off is a common requirement.
Cell phone water damage repair
If your phone has water damage you probably know of it, but sometimes you've just got a hunch.
How to check for water damage..
For HTC, LG, Samsung, Motorola, BlackBerry, and all other non-iPhone users out there, this is how you determine if your phone has water damage:
Remove your phone's back cover and take out the battery. Look for a small sticker on the battery. If it's pinkish red, you'd be fair to assume the phone has battery damage.
For iPhone users:
iPhones have different areas on the body that indicate whether or not your phone has been submerged and damaged in water. First off, grab a flashlight. Shine the light through the headphone port and look for the white strip. Same deal, if it is red then you can assume the phone has water damage. The more red it is, the more water damage is likely to have occurred. There is another indicator strip within the charging port. Check that one as well. iPhone models of the 5th generation and newer also have an indicator within the SIM card tray. Remove the tray and check within the slot itself.
Alright, if your results come up positive and you do indeed have water damage, it's essential you do not try powering the phone on. That isn't some silly, empty claim. Turning on your phone at that point will cause excessive amounts voltage, which can fry your phone even more - potentially bringing it to an end. So, do not turn it on and do not plug it in.
Just remove the battery and sim card, bring the phone in to us, and we'll empty it of any sitting water. If you want to try removing the water yourself, you submerge your device in a bag of rice. If you want to absorb the water most effectively, which I'm sure you do, you should keep gravity in mind. Don't lay your device side to side. Make sure it's standing upright so the water can better leak down, and, ultimately, escape through the ports below.
Keep in mind that the Apple store WILL charge you an arm and a leg to do a water damage repair. Liquid damages aren't covered within their warranty.
